Not for all yachts but many will have a much nicer cockpit when real teak floor grates are fitted.

These are around twelve years old now and have just been in for a service and sanding clean.
They fit around a center cockpit steering wheel pedestal.
We have some nice kiln dried solid teak in stock and can make to your order.We would need your cockpit sole template, in stiff card works fine. Allow a month for completion, plus delivery time.
While machines are used it can still be said these are hand made, there is no CNC machine work used on this type of work.
They will be fine now for a good number of years, a clean with oxalic acid twice a year can keep them clean.
Note the use of Superform bending plywood in this cockpit.
