The Hout Bay Rotary Classic Car show (we got rain again)

What can I say,November is summer in the cape,we now see more than 14 hours of sunshine a day, excepting this day we got rain, mind you this weather beats last year when we had such gales (unseasonal) that the entire event was cancelled.

Each year the Rotary Club of Hout Bay use the Kronendal School grounds to host some of the capes finest classic cars, the car clubs and cars are free entry, the visitors pay an entrance fee of R20,thats about U$2.85 so its not going to break the bank.Side shows are stalls and food sellers, the proceeds go to the local community charities via the Rotary Club.

The Kronendal Primary School and its sports fields is to the left of this picture.

The emblem of Rotary, the Hout Bay sector ran the Cars in the Bay again this year.

Well done to Rotary in Hout Bay,the organisation is really good year after year, the event is a highlight of local classic cars and the clubs repond, this year the Cape Jaguar Club looked to have the largest display, rain or shine we Cape Jaguar Club members not only turn up but we stay.
