This is normally required when the steering rack gaiter splits after years and years of use, with the Imp Club stocking new rubber gaiters we can now refit with the correct pattern now.
Fitted and filled with the correct grade of EP Shell oil, note, an Imp was designed around Shell products and we advise that only Shell oils and grease are used on the car.

The steering arms are fitted with the oil inside the rubber gaiter, then the entire assembly is fitted as a closed unit.
