For some while now and very much behind the scenes we have been discussing the possibility of CKD Boats cc of Hout Bay near Cape Town, South Africa becoming the official ISAF recognised Mirror Dinghy kit suppliers to South Africa and other countries.
Todays inter class dinghy show was held at the Zeekoevlei Yacht Club, well attended many got to meet the class leaders and in some cases the boat builders also.

We will soon start the construction of our hull # 1, this needs to be measured for proof that we have CNC cut the boats shape correctly, when this is proven we will be offering the Mirror Dinghy in a number of options.

CKD Boats cc will offer the wood epoxy boat as a number of options.
A base kit with the CNC cut okoume marine ply to BS 1088, wood, epoxy and glass tapes only, the kit pre assembled but not finished , or the boat finished to the stage you require.
Options this way will suit most pockets.
